Established in 1989
SIMEWOOD Product Sdn Bhd was founded by Ong Chong Kiong and Chiam Tock Boon in 1989 with a workforce of 5 workers. The business started up by doing furniture parts (sub-con) for other factories.

1995-1999
As the market changed, prospect of the booming furniture industry, Ong Chong Kiong transformed the business to produce occasional household furniture.

1999-2010
In year 1999, in order to go further to open up new markets and challenged the competitive market environment. We were successfully export our products to first foreign country, Ireland. That was our booster and encouragement. Today, we establish good business relationship with our customers from 25 oversea countries.

2011 - Present
The practicality of SIMEWOOD furniture caused an increase in production, moving to larger factory at Parit Jamil.
